Huntley Montana | I'm looking at malt barley contracts that should gross $700-750 a acre, that's on 5t hay ground. So to match that I need $175 a ton for hay to cover the extra expenses in harvesting hay. I dought I'm going to ge $175 a on for hay. Looking at tearing out 500-800& acre of hay & planting Barley in it. I'll leave the good hay, but anything that is going to get tore out in the next 2 yrs just got bumped up.
Need to figgure out where your $$$$ is. Only person that cares if you make it is YOU. | |
