Martinsville Ill | We were getting $130 a ton for grass hay in October. Now I hear between 180 and 200. I think the customers are concerned about avilabilty and then how that is going to affect price. And here is why you might say he sure seems lost: last winter we were getting less than $70 a ton. In my farming career which is short I have not encountered such a jump in price. I'm finally catching up with the grain markets.
