#2 - Tried EZ-Guide+ with ez steer t2 drilling wheat in fall '06. Worked fine to start with - thought it was the S..., but got repeated errors/shutdowns (yes it was hard-wired), and finally went back to markers. Tried it in the floater (higher speed), and guys put outback S (lighter only) back in.
Rep said the 500 would work better, but didn't get one to us to demo next spring, so went with what we were familiar with. Easier to switch between countour and A-B, which is why we dindn't go trimble lightbar in the first place.
Have had good luck with Outback's simplicity and support. Also like the hydraulic interface.

Not bashing trimble, but it worked better in our situation.
