Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | Deere's DTAC No 2280 (available from your friendly Deere dealer) provides instructions for connecting "Brand X" position receivers to Greenstar yield monitors. We used that DTAC to connect a WAAS enabled Garmin 17n to a 9500 Greenstar yield monitor. It provided good quality yield maps for several seasons. I see no reason why it wouldn't work OK using EZGuide position receiver but you will need to configure your EZGuide for NMEA output and build, or buy, a cable to connect.
Deere's yield mapping software (JDOffice and Apex) still has many bugs so if you have trouble with either of those you might want to try another brand x software for reading and viewing Greenstar card data. I'm not selling anything but have found that Mapshots FOViewer is a trouble free way to read JD cards and display yield map and yield properties on your PC screen. Windows installers for FOViewer, and the FODD for your JD yield monitor system, are available as free downloads from the good folks at Mapshots:

Attached pictures show examples of Mapshots FOViewer PC screens for yield map and yield properties from a file that was Greenstar logged to our JD data card for the 2007 harvest season. That data was logged by a JD9510 GS! processor using Startfire iTC with SF1 position receiver, but yield maps we make from WAAS enabled Garmin position receiver look same as the Starfire SF1 map example.
Good luck there, this yield mapping stuff isn't rocket science, if you can find the right software..............
