That is a water trough with a over flow pond. The pipeline that feeds that trough is over 4 miles long by 2" dia. poly pipe. We pump water year round to stock cows. There is over 20 miles of pipeline in this block of winter country we run, plus a couple of live springs in the area. Cattle walk for miles to get a drink. We don't feed any supplemental feed, they will run here for 6 months then we trail them 15 miles in one day into Idaho for 6 months of grazing there.
