Subject: RE: Aluminum stock trailers, pics of Featherlite

“These are the times that try men's souls.”
For all round ranch work a Wilson or Merritt trailers, don't work very good in my opinion. I've seen a lot of side panels in those trailers kicked in, punch sides ripped thru by a rope trying to drag a cow in the trailers. I think for just hauling cattle they are ok. I was told it cost over $1,500 to replace a fender on one. They have to unrivet a lot of side panels to replace fender. Here is a pic of my new Featherlite, I just got two weeks ago. I had them put cam locks on both sides of rear door. If you have a left handed roper trying to drag a cow into trailer, it's easier, also makes it easier to load in different places.
