Hillsboro, AL | I have a lot of hours in the seat with the FMD this week. It gives the audible chirp on engage/disengage. It also has the visual indicator. The FMD is supposed to have the "end of row alarm", but I have never heard it. It has a setting for the distance from the end of row in the setup. But I have never been able to get it to work. The FMD also has an alarm for going so long with out user input (I forget the exact terminology they use). That time is also user configurable and it seems to work. I had to increase it or it went off in my longer fields while planting.
