Subject: Tell me about winter canola, i know nothing...

Bartlett TX
I will be planting some RR winter canola on thursday, just to try it to see if it will work down here. Only gonna plant 20 acres, but i know nothing aobut canola. I have never even seen what the crop looks like, only a picture from brochure. Our seed guy said to plant 6 lbs to the acre in 12 to 15" rows. Plant same time as wheat, same fert program as wheat. We are in central texas. here are some of my questions.
We can typically make 40 bpa wheat, what kind of canola yeild should i expect?
What is the canola market based on?
what is it typically worth?
who do you usually sell it to? How many lbs per bushel?
I will be cutting this with a 2388 with 30' 1010 header.
I dont need a flex header do I?
Is the stubble good for feed?
I would appreciate any info.
