Fall of '71 was a wet one here. We harvested a lot of our beans after Thanksgiving by running at night when the ground was froze. Neighbor decided he rather sleep at night & wait till the ground was froze during the day. Got a big snowstorm in Dec & he had a couple hundred acres that were flatter than a pancake & rotted come spring. He harvested them with a disc
