SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ
The soybeans are popping out of the pods, and the corn that has ears sticking straight up has sprouts on the butt end. Couple that with poor stalk quality from the drought, and ears dropping with every heavy wind,I say don't wait. Here anyway if we get a wet snow(which we get alot)we will lose alot more. Screw the compaction. I say the crop is worth 500 to 600$ an acre with corn and thats alot of money out there to leave standing to the whims of nature. The weather might get better but what if it don't ??? When the sun shines tommorrow we will hit it hard again.
