just a tish NE of central ND | As a 30 year share renter/ cash renter , I would still recomend dad to do all this himself or have it custom farmed.(nothing wrong with getting it custom farmed as you have control of the operation)I shutter at what the share owner that does nothing on that land but pay taxes and collect crop shares expects the renter to do so they can make the easy money for them selves..Your renter may mean well, but may or not have the time to do it your way.When you rent stuff for cash, it is much simpler and the owner knows what he has before the crop is even seeded. |
