Martinsville, Ohio | It has to be on trust. I had a dealer load the spreader and it looked small to me and I weighed it at a competitive dealer and it was 400 lbs short a ton. That dealer ended up bankrupt as you can imagine.
I would hope that you are getting what you buy but you have to watch that dealer, another load on the honest farmer.
We are stretched so short we don't have time to do this.
It has to be built on trust.
The honest ones go on and on for years. Yes, there are mistakes by human error but the honest dealer will make the human error good.
That is my opinion after years in this or any business.
