You may not be increasing soil fertility levels because of many different things. Time of year, small variability in dept of sampling, soil temperature can all play into the test results. Also, if you have a high CEC soil, it take a lot of fertilizer to increase it by one or two points.
As an independent agronomist, it does give me a shiver down my spine if there are retails out there that would treat customers like that. One of the strongest traits the ag. industry has is the honesty between ourselves.
