| I just got a 9660 this fall and it puts out beautiful grain. First corn I ran was real dry, concave was set on 33, rotor speed 310, fan 1150. I got in some 18-19% corn and had to tighten concave to 25 and ran rotor at 400 to get it shelled but no cracking. Your chaffer / sieve won't damage the grain. I agree, try closing your concave some. Also check if you have wide tooth sieve, book calls for narrower setting than regular sieve. Hope you figure it out. | |
