Yes but all we hear about is new = better. This thing is so old that no one should still be planting it. Maybe someone should put the RR gene in this variety and see what happens.

We are still planting one variety of cabbage that is atleats 25 years old and each year we plant a test plot with 10 to 15 varieties to try and find a replacement. Have tried a few over the years but when you get them out in the field , 5 acres, they do not preform the same.
