Do you really believe this response is in any way related to the variety not being Roundup Ready? I've been in a lot of nurseries, and there's a wide variation among the entries in every one. I'm not tracking on the notion that just because this variety responds in a major way that it's due to the absence of the RR gene. I'd think I could build just as strong a case for something else within this variety's makeup that's responsible for the response.
