Lapel, In | What has always concerned me about zones and variable rate fertilizing is I am concerned that the practice will create a ton more micro zones, especially when we really don't have a true handle on proper fertilization practices. There is a lot more at this point that we don;t know as compared to what we do know. Water movement through the soil probably has a lot more to do with maximizing yields than we know at this time. | |
