I have a problem with your figures.What shrink factor are you using.Some say it is 1.2% for every percent of moisture . Others,including the locals here use a 1.4% shrink for each % of moisture. I really don't think they are hitting you as much as you think.Using the 1.4 figure, I think they are taking 1.6 %(after the normal 1.4% shrink) x 2 .5 equals(18% -15.5 % ) 4% or 15 cents a bushel which is plenty, but if your labor and fuel could easily gobble that up. Maybe we should send Dave Letterman a small bag of corn and watch "Will it float"! lol,bob
I could be wrong though.
