I have to agree with everything Tom says here. Your big enemy or friend will be the air temperature. You have to dry the grain before it spoils. Filling half full sounds like a good idea to speed the process and I would not be afraid to use the stirrers. The stirrers will break up the drying front which will be your highest moisture area of the bin. You don't need to stir continuously but you could roll it over every couple of days. Personally, I would start at about 20% with a half bin system but don't count on it being dry in less than a week and a half without artificial heat, again that will depend on the ambient air.
