East Central Arkansas | Just thinking about defoliation and what some of you other cotton farmers like to use. One shot or two and how much water. I have been doing a two shot the last several years with anywhere from 10 to 20 gpa. mostly in the 12 to 15 gpa range. For the 1st shot I like Drop at a pint to 7 ac with 1 gal to 19 ac Prep. I normally use some ams and vegtable oil in the mix. Second shot is Prep at 26 oz ac and Aim at .5 oz ac. I also use ams and oil with this.
We will probably get started next week. Neigbor that picks for me started yesterday on a farm he works near Marianna.
