Last night we had 1/2" inch of thunder and 1/4" of wind, 0" rain. Here at USDA-ARS, we are measuring soil moisture differences in NT cotton planted after a rye cover crop VS. cotton planted after grazing the rye. This has been a bad year for everything except determining how much longer the cover crop cotton can hold out.
