Mid Michigan		It feels like the Amazon jungle here in mid michigan today. We finally broke our drought here and have been getting some rain. 1.5 inches sunday and another 1 inch last night along with some of the most violent lightning I have ever seen. It was almost to the point of being terrifying. Looked like the War of the Worlds lightning. I am sure some trees and barns bit the dust last night. We are supposed to be like this for the rest of the week with thunderstorms coming through. I guess it is time for the monsoon season around here but I actually thought we missed it this year. Is there still some people with no rain yet? This last group of systems looks like it hit most areas. Not the UP of Michigan though were a huge wildfire keeps burning. No rain up there yet. Crops and yard are green again although crops are pretty much done doing what they were going to do. Trees look better already.
