I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on the "cooler" weather. If I'm not mistaken, and I don't think I am, they were calling for mid-90's last weekend and first of this week. And we know what happened to that! Been 100+ most every day this week. Some did get a rain last Sat. night, but it was a narrow band. I had about 300 acres that got some of it, but over half of it was corn and cotton ground and it's too late for both.
