They make pretty good feed. The ones we've done lately we've silage baled and wrapped. If you can't wrap them, you'll probably have to let the stems get super dry then bale at night to try to maintain the leaves. Beats the heck out of nothing. I'm planning on doing 30 acres of cow peas, and may do the 30 acres of double crops with them, they are thin and pretty pathetic.
