| I agree 100% with CB - I've got a couple out right now, running SF1 with Circle Track doing pivots. They take a LOT of tweaking to get them just perfect, I actually try to get in the swather without the customer (if it's a new-to-them system) and tune on it for 30-45 minutes or so, just so they don't lose confidence in it. On most of the ones we've tested, the farther out in front the better they seem to work - the factory Deere bracket over the windshield wiper is good on the 48-49's, and a custom-fab on everything else to get it out in about the same spot. It seems like as long as there is SOME fore-aft distance from the centerline of the drive wheels, the reciever "leads" the rig, and more is better. | |
