South Central South Dakota
Same as Balzy plenty of feed and some form of a wind break either trees or man made. somethimes a big pile of bales.

Should be good. Not a bad idea for the calves to be able to get in a barn since the cows will probly crowd there when the weather is bad and the calves could get trampled on at times unless there is plenty of area. the little buggers can work there way into the barn for a place to be.
