4" thick wall pipe corners......2-7/8" used drill stem for braces (1 or 2 per corner depth dependent), horizontals and single pipes every 5-10 Ts. We concrete corners and braces....80 lb quickcrete....80 lb large gravel/small rock per hole....hole bottoms are 'bell shaped'. Cap and paint the pipe. This is for high-tensile 14 ga barbed wire...5-6 strand fence.

Anyone have tips for welding magnetized pipe?

We also have Bois-d-Arc corners dating back to 1920s!

Rail-road ties are good for about 30 yr here. The same or more for bottoms of large cresote treated utility poles.
