It depends on if you are going to feed cattle for several years. The best thing with hoops is you can get rid of them quickly and for a lot less cost. I believe you need to figure a minimum of 1.2 cornstalk bales per head for bedding and if you have a total concrete floor instead of clay pack with lime increase the number up higher.
