Personly I like jersey cows but we have a lot of jersey holstein crosses. We mAy not make the most milk but we normally make some of the highest components around. I was up to 4.2 fat and 3.3 protein in the spring making 45-50 lbs a cow. Nutritionist thinks I have been doing a great job. We also don't have much trouble with breading just a few old cows here and there
