SWMN | Hey dairyman got a question for you. What are your reasons for cross breeding. Not trying to sound snotty, but I did cross some of my holsteins and the crosses that i still have I would sell you very cheap. Didn't work for me, but i never wanted to get big into it and was doing it on low end cows. I hope it works for you. but please explain I have been considering it again because we are looking to add another cross vent barn but to make it work I would have to go with 48" stall. In our barn we have 52" I like them but that could why I don't like the crosses and yes I don't think there is anything prettier than a BIG TALL HOLSTEIN. and I am learning that big and tall don't always mean more milk.
