Wife has always done a few head/year. $2.25 and they pay the cut and wrap. Butcher comes and gets them at our place, I think we pay the $50 kill and haul charge. Seems expensive, but they get a little grain and at 5-10 pounds a day to finish them, that is a quite a bit extra cash in them. Not to mention it is a big giant PIA. Do it more as a favor to some people, I don't think there is a whole lot of extra money in it at that price.
