indiana | one of the things i believe in is exercize, i feed away from the water in the winter and run the cows and heifers in a large paddock. i calve 5 to 15 heifers a year and have pulled one calf in the last 5 years as far back as i can remember that is. and he was backwards and upside down and yes a very hard pull. i have been using angus bulls, but i may switch to the red poll next spring on the heifers. i want to see a few of his calves first. | |
