Dave, I didn't measure my U070 bull as a yearling. His AHA pedigree lists his registered offspring as having an average frame score of 5.2. That is about what we see from him.

Jon,  Moving them this evening I took a picture of one of my cows which is an example of that long low 1200-1300 lb cow genetics with quick calf growth I am trying to aim for to produce the type calf you commented on above.

I do give them more than the driveway to graze. It is the time of year to use every nook and cranny of grass while there still is grass in WI. I moved them across a wire to a strip between the grazing corn and the woods.
