Just outside downtown Prairie Hill | Little update.... REC wants $5300 for the first 600 ft or $6550 for @ 900 ft. They will sell me AL 4/0 wire for somewhere in the 1.50/ft range depending on their replacement costs. I measured the distance this morning @ 1260 ft. From the charts I have found (some guesswork) looks like this 4/0 wire will work if the water pump runs on 230 volts. Charts I found stop at 1000 ft. Anybody know of a website charting wire size on longer distances? Thanks |
