northwest tennessee | <p>Dont close it up. It is the type of wound that will need to drain and heal on its on sweet time. It sounds like you are pretty much on top of it and I have always liked hydrogen peroxide for wounds with bad odors. Put it in a big syringe or something and squirt it in there. I think it will be fine but will take patience. To be closed up it would have to be trimmed out to get to good healthy tissue so it would heal and then it would be so tight it would not hold. I would work on getting the odor killed out and then the real healing will start to take place.</p>
