Southwest Missouri | University of Missouri did a study on water quality. Two sets of steers. Measured water quantity. One group got clean well water. The other got the nastiest scumiest pond water. In a two year test, there was difference in water consumed or pounds of gain.
Edit: there was NO difference in water consumed or pounds of gain. One word makes a difference. Sorry for the mistake.
