At the price of fuel,grain and other supplies for the farm I don't see how at $10 milk you can be that profitable not saying you can't but I think it would be tight. I don't think $20 milk is the answer either because the market is just gonna get flooded. I am not here to moan and groan we get what we get and that is it. If you just want to bitch about it all the time then I think it is time for them to retire. But I would still like to see a cash flow on $4.50 corn $2.20 fuel and $260 nitrogen and land at $6-8000/ ACRE. $10 milk will not cut it and by the way you can get rid of the welfare check[milc]. |
