Subject: Take issue with the healing from poor price part.

Sioux Center, Iowa
For the most part the only ones who have suffered are those who overextended themselves. I have zero pity for them. With the government support, the lowest our "real" milk price has been is around $13. I know for a fact that a dairy with little debt could make good money even at $10 milk. $20 milk will be a gold rush before the next bust. There are already more new big dairies coming up around here than you can count.
Long story short, good managers will turn a profit when a poor manager can't.

As far as disparity between farm price and shelf, I guess in this free country we're all free to vertically integrate. It's being done locally.
