No I wouldn't if I was buying him from some other breeder. All it would take for this bull to bring big money at a salebarn is for someone to lie on his BW and we all know the funny stuff some people do to sell a bull.
Let's say I have to pull a couple of calves this next year (something I haven't had to do before because of a large calf) then I might be more inclined to get rid of him more so than if I use a bull with an 80lb BW. That 80lb bull with good EPD's I could just write it off to something else like OH, blame it on the cow maybe.
He will be running with the bull in the pics a couple of threads down so hopefully he doesn't breed to many this first year.
I don't know if you guys remember my narrow alleyway but it makes me wonder if he will fit when he gets to his mature size. What do you think his mature size will be?
