| I would be tempted to try it, but it would depend on your situation. We calve Feb and March, in Manitoba, so we watch everything like hawks and are always there to assist. If you calve out in the pasture and the cows are on their own - I would be more leary- not just because of calving difficulty, but also because bigger calves are not always as quick to get sucking. He looks like a lovely calf. Good luck with what you decide. | |
