wouldnt it just be easier to keep a tank or old tanker around and just pump it into the feed wagon? little easer to measure and get your ration the same if you ask me. if it settle in the tank just use the same pump to suck out the bottom and drop it back in the top. or make an agitator pipe to blow it back in whatever direction you feel like?? or if you tub grind just rig the hose on the conveyer so its applying as you grind. not sure of your situation.
we did teh syrup on round bales a few times over the top. they were on soft core straw and when we fed them you could see how far the stuff actually soaked in... NOT very far. and very uneven. and then you still had to have them flipped up to the elements....

take it for what its worth. just my .02
