Sunnyside, WA | Being a farmer with livestock is scary right now. I just remember how quickly $20 milk went away and we had $9 milk. I'm guessing corn will do the same later, no one knows just when. I'm not going out too far ahead with buying corn since it hurts more when it drops and you have too much bought ahead than it does when it drops and you are buying on the spot market. But then again, I didn't think it would get much over $5 much less $8, so you're probably best to do the opposite of what I say. | |
