But I will say 3 wires, spaced at 19", 29" and 40". I would have the top and bottom wire hot, and for the middle wire locate a 3-way switch at the beginning of the fence which is connected to the middle wire and can connect to either the energizer, or a ground rod. That way, when conditions are dry, you can flip the switch and connect the wire to the ground rod and get more effective control. |
