black hided ( hide pigment )...and those are CAB too...if the carcasses quality.

By far most carcasses do NOT quality for CAB ( certified angus beef )...including black angus carcasses.

Nice thing about a big shot of Angus in much of the Nation's cowherd...is very simply Angus have always been maternal with great maternal traits.

It has really "cleaned up" alot of crossbred cows..simply because those have a shot of angus in there somewhere now.

Take one of those REAL Grass type offshore angus lines you like, and the first thing to do on em is turn a bunch of em Red if your in an enviro that dictates that they take heat better.

Best cowherds are just like the good beers....Reds, Blacks and Tans.
