We built 3500 sq ft house 7 years ago-just before energy prices went up.
Biggest mistake I did was not putting in geo-thermal. One $450 power bill in July will make you rethink a lot.
Have several friends that have it with similar houses-in the winter we are pretty even-but in the summer their bills are MUCH less.
Cost was $15,000 more at the time, $25,000 more to do it after the fact now.
Pennywise and pound foolish was I. Figure out a way to get it-even if it means cutting elsewhere.
wow, you have more of a carbon footprint than al. if you don't use the fireplace your ac bill will go down.
did you have an energy audit done? something isn't right with those numbers. |
