With a ration like that the ewes should be plenty fat. That is if there not full of worms or something. I'd drop the expensive energy tubs personally. DDGs is a far cheaper protein source if needed. Don't get Dr Morrical from ISU started on the idea of sheep self limiting there intake to "what they need". It works just as good for mineral and protein as it does for corn...not worth a darn.

Personally I wouldn't sell a ewe with ketosis. Generally I beileive in culling anything that looks at me cross eyed but this would be an exception. I had a ewe that was three or four years old that got ketosis once. It never happened again and she was around for I think about 8 more lambings(She was one of only two ewes that have died of old age on this farm!). If this ewe of yours will easily accept a grafted lamb that alone is work giving her a second shot.
