Yeah but no matter what time of year you can have one backwards,foot back,etc.,etc. Only calves I usually lose is at that time of year when easily corrected problems go un-noticed.
Good point, I know of a few guys that have said the h*ll with summer calving and gone back to winter because they were having to bring some in for help. (Not that easy bringing a cow that wants to head for the bush to calve when you want to bring her in the yard to help her.)
Everyones a little different and they have to calve when it works for THEIR own farm. |
