I'm glad to see the 1 to 1.5 pairs/acre in print from an "expert" since that is my overall average goal also. I think I can get there as long as I have some hay in reserve in case the rains quit. And this is in the clay hills, not prime flat, deep corn ground although it can raise good corn. At that rate, with low input costs of rotational grazing, cattle can make some money if prices hold up. The problem is always startup costs. But these can and should be amortized over a longer period. I figure 10 years. Good post. Jim at Dawn
