I'd look for a new holland if I was you. We had Arts-Way(In IH form), Gehl, and NH. I liked the NH the best. I really liked the cable winches on BOTH the unloading auger and drag auger, they were simpler and easy to use. Neither the gehl or IH had it on the drag so you had to man handle that which was a pain. I also prefered the hydraulic drive control for the unloading auger on the NH compared to the gehl when unloading small batches in more than one spot. Either way, I'd stay away from a mechanical drive machine, our IH was all mechanical and it was alot of parts elimination with a simple hydraulic motor. We had a 354 NH and had it on a Farmall M-TA. It always started, was reliable, was a good combo. Granted, if you needed to quickly grind feed, she'd definitely handle a much, much larger tractor on the shaft too. But we liked the flexability to use what we had and didn't have to move tractors around any during the growing season.
