The vet looked at him today, ruled out anything mouth or throat related. He gave him injections of an antibiotic and a wormer/anti-parasite. He also said to take him off of wheat and put him on good hay and some starter feed for a couple of weeks and watch how he eats. I guess we will see how he responds. Thanks for all the replies.
